When I was little I had always had a interest in music. My father had me always listing to 40/and 50's Jazz music (and continues to this day), my cousin had showed me what joy a simple melody on the piano can bring. Music was a huge part of my life and when I was in 4th grade I had the opportunity to learn more in music and become a better musician, and for the past 11 years that is what I've been doing or at least attempting to do

9/11 Reflection
For one of our first concerts ever we play for a 9/11 memorial. 9/11 was a devastating tradgedy and in memorie we have a huge cermony to take the time and remebre those who have losed their lives. The songs we played was Armed Forces March in which I think we did amazing. Tempo was a little fast in the end but overall it was pretty good. The Star Spangled Banner was as good as usual. Finally America the Beautiful we did amazing. It took us some getting used to when the choir joined, and personally I think everything about it was good. Tempo, pitch, etc.

Throughout the years as a band student from my point of view I believe i shouldn't be where I am as of right now. My goals this year is to
- learn my sharps and flats - know my major and minor scale notes -learn to remember all my scales off the top of my head (or at least have a idea of it) and finally - To keep in time and learn to count better |
